I love art and design. Since 1997, From the Canyon Woodworks has been dedicated to making beautiful, high quality furniture and cabinets for clients to enjoy. Have a look at our work and all that we have achieved so far. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

Like every tree it comes from, each piece of wood tells a story. The same is true of the furniture I create for my clients. The story will begin when I build your custom design. And it will continue through generations, since my woodworking projects are built to last.

Back to Basics

From the Canyon is the brainchild of artisan furniture and cabinetmaker John Pantano. He has been creating unique and individually-tailored projects for homes and offices since 1996.

Crafting everything from heirloom furniture to custom doors and built-in bookcases, John produces designs inspired by working with clients to suit their needs, tastes and budget. Everything he creates is designed to integrate into a home’s interior or exterior space, transforming the ordinary into functional works of art. His designs are custom made to fit specific locations, styles and needs.

Handcrafted furniture starts with great design. John says he loves meeting with clients to discuss their vision. From the Canyon is built to maximize the beauty of any single piece of wood that inspires the design. Often, the rest of the piece develops around that single slab. John builds furniture using classic techniques which result in heirloom pieces designed to be passed down from one generation to the next.
